Dave Hunt with MI Industries gave us a call earlier this year about a little project he wanted some help on. A small sticker order, nothing crazy. Or so we thought.

Our production crew started out like every other day. 180 stickers is no big feat, but it wasn’t until we saw the actual sticker design that we became curious. Physical proofs were put together for a leader etched design and a reflective vinyl. As it progressed, the project was exposed to be the big reveal boxes holding the Super Bowl 50 rings.

MI Industries came by with the boxes a few days before the reveal. They pulled into the back and secured the area. The boxes were wrapped in a beautiful mirrored gold acrylic with a metal lock. Our reflective vinyl stickers featuring the Super Bowl 50 logo were ready for their moment to shine. Each box had a sticker placed on the top for it’s final touch.

“When I saw the box, I was like, DAMN!” said Pat, who works in installation. “It was a pleasure to get a chance to do something for our Super Bowl champs!”

When asked about any funny security encounters during the production, Mike in sales said, “As a company policy, we take photos of all the projects we do for records. Ethan took a photo of the boxes on the pallet and nearly got tackled by a lady representative who was terrified of being sued by the NFL if he were to leak the photos ahead of time. We assured her about the security, but it was hilarious.”

Our team was overjoyed to work on the extravagant boxes, but there’s no doubt the prize inside was one for the books too. As reported by The Denver Post, each piece of the Broncos’ championship ring includes 194 diamonds for 5.05 carats, plus 18 sapphires, set in a 10-carat, white and yellow gold rings. The top includes the Super Bowl 50 logo, three Lombardi Trophies, the team’s logo, and the words “WORLD CHAMPIONS” engraved on the edges. The sides of the rings feature 56 stones, in honor of the Broncos’ 56-year history, and the top and bottom edges have 15 stones for the team’s 15 division titles and 15 regular and postseason victories in 2015. On one side is the player’s name and number, and on the other is the Lombardi Trophy and the words “THIS ONE’S FOR PAT” in honor of longtime owner Pat Bowlen.

“It’s a beautiful ring. This one is for Pat. He did a lot of stuff for all of us. To do something for someone else is an incredible feeling.” said Broncos player and MVP, Von Miller.

Couldn’t have said it better ourselves, Von! Always happy to be of service. Congrats again to the national champs!
