Leprino Foods prides themselves on settling for nothing less than excellence. We like to believe that is why they chose Soapoint, along with Burkett Design, to help in giving their Denver Headquarters an updated look. This was a project completed through layers…layers of film, layers of acrylic, and layers upon layers of creative thinking. Vibrant wall murals were created using 3M ij40 with 8509 Luster Laminate, a permanent solution to visual boredom. Wall mounts were created by mounting colorful prints to the back-side of 3/8″ clear acrylic which was then mounted to each wall using 1″ brushed stainless steel stand-offs. A ‘hard-to-get-our-hands-on’, Japanese 3M fasara film took precedence over the windows of Leprino’s huddle room, creating an open-feeling privacy with defiant brand recognition that almost appears to be jumping right off of the glass.

One of Drink & Draw’s more recent and more popular events occured just off of Larimer Street at Denver’s ‘Mile High Spirits’. This month’s Soapoint & AIGA sponsored event brought to life many small, paper characters…custom created by roughly 20+ local artists and designers who showed up thirsty for not only a fun & creative outlet, but also for a great opportunity to network with fellow like-minded creatives. Each paper character was crafted through coloring, cutting, and folding until the desired figure came to life…luckily these paper characters didn’t drink much.

Westword’s 2013 Artopia was, once again, a huge success for Soapoint. We have a goal for events like this: Everyone that visits Soapoint’s Booth leaves with something free. Often times, it’s a handful of great stickers…in this case, it was most likely that visitors left with, at the least, one of 250+ Soapoint hats. Each white, logo-marked cap served as a blank canvas for local creatives that participated in this year’s Artopia festivities. This event showcases an eclectic array of Denver art, culture, food, music and film. Celebrating some of Denver’s best artists, musicians, performers, and culinary creatives. it spans across five venues. SOAPOINT had our booth over at Club Vinyl for the second year in a row.

Changing the finish of this Brand new 2013 Scion Frs from black to black may strike some as pointless…that is until they see the results. The original gloss black of this vehicles exterior underwent an amazing transformation as we wrapped the entire body in a 3M 1080 series matte black wrap film. The result is breathtaking, but the process was not easy. All handles, lights, and trim had to be removed completely before installation. Once the matte black film was carefully & cautiously applied, gloss black sponsorship logos were added for a low-key distinction. Don’t be surprised if you notice this bad boy drifting around the track on Hankook Tires and carrying one lucky driver.

The interior at Colorado Wellness has quickly morphed into a space that mimics the quality & style of this thriving new business. The fresh diagonals and displays within were in need of some quality lighting though. Luckily, Soapoint, along with the wiring geniuses at Prostyle Electric, knew just what to do. Soapoint’s creative minded problem solver, Mike, was able to develop a design that is not only uniquely stylish, but is also a reflection of Colorado Wellness’ clever and functional product packaging. 17 mason jars were affixed, wired, and suspended from 3 custom cnc routed & beveled wooden rings which were stained to match existing interior wood tones within the establishment. Direct lighting was also added above all display cases to create an intimate & clear showcase of all available product.

In Soapoint’s line of business, the best way to advertise isn’t to just tell people about what we can do, but rather to show people what we can do. That is exactly why we choose to showcase cutting edge materials & installation methods on our own vehicles. This time around, Mike’s white Ford F-150 was transformed to bare an Oracal Matte Mint coloring with 3M 220 Gloss-Black Overlays. Ethan’s 2006 black Nissan Titan took on a 3M Matte Orange covered with 3M Perfect Match Red overlays. The patterns of each truck coordinate, but also bare slight differences…..because around here, different is always good.

Recently, when the Westin Hotel of Downtown Denver decided that they needed a pairing of personality and a touch of privacy added to their lobby’s glass doors, Soapoint was there to deliver. We used a 3M Clear Vinyl and 8508 laminate for these glass door graphics in order to create an opaque background which easily offsets each panel’s bright & vibrant print. The installation for a project like this requires a wet application process, on-site. The print must also set to dry for two days prior to lamination, for print gassing purposes…and I think that we all know the importance in giving any ‘gassing purposes’ their adequate space and time.
